Winter & Summer Trekking and Hiking - Utah - Utah Mountain Adventures

Experience the mountains' rewards without the physical demands of climbing or skiing. UMA guides know the best trails for every interest, from a 1/2-day trekking tour to a multi-day backpack trip. Fish in a high mountain lake, scramble to a nearby viewpoint, and camp under the stars. In summer, celebrate the splendor of mountain meadows brilliant with wildflowers. In winter, the sparkling snow, fresh air, and alpine vistas are just as accessible on snowshoes.

Guides will share their knowledge of natural and human history in the mountains while minimizing risks inherent to mountain travel. Hikes and snowshoe adventures go out from Park City, Alta, Brighton, Salt Lake City, etc. UMA provides camping equipment and has trekking backpacks and ski poles available to rent.

Utah Mountain Adventures organizes hikes and trekking excursions for many groups including conferences, companies, schools and camps. Our guides can accommodate a variety of skill and fitness levels and make the outings fun and exciting for everyone.

All trekking is arranged on a custom basis. Guides are available daily, however, advance notice is appreciated.
