Backcountry Touring Clinic and Avalanche Awareness Course:

Description:
Add a day of backcountry skiing or snowboarding to the standard Avalanche Awareness class. Learn how to use skins and descend variable off-piste snow and terrain. Then on Sunday be able to concentrate on snow stability tests, route-finding, and rescue skills. For those with little or no experience using backcountry equipment, yet interested in using the gear and gaining some backcountry experience before participating in the avalanche course.
