Teen Rock Camp:

Description:
The rock climbing camp will instill safe outdoor climbing skills and techniques and improve participants' movement on rock. Quartzite, Granite, and Limestone will be climbed to introduce students to a variety of rock types and cragging areas. Multi-pitch climbing may be included if students demonstrate interest and aptitude.

Parent or guardian will need to drop-off and pick up kids at various pre-set trailhead locations in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, e.g. the Gate Buttress Parking area or Storm Mtn Picinic area. Meeting points will be set the evening before by the guide / instructor, based on current conditions and group goals, needs, etc.

Dates:
     June 25 -29, 2012 (Monday - Friday)

Fee:
     $495 pp plus tax for 5 days (10 am - 4 pm).

     UMA reserves the right to cancel or shorten the camp if fewer than 3 participants register.
