Mark is a native of New York where he started climbing while attending SUNY Plattsburgh’s Expeditionary Studies program. The Adirondack Mountains were home for four years until he decided to move west to pursue his guiding career.
Mark has worked extensively in the North Cascades, Alaska, Russia, South America, and Utah. Mark has an incredible passion for teaching, and giving people life changing experiences in the mountains. Mark now splits his time between Washington, Alaska, and Utah
