While in college Cody obtained a two-year internship with the Utah Avalanche Center (UAC) where he found his passion for snow and avalanches. He began teaching avalanche education for the UAC in 2011 and started teaching/ guiding for Utah Mountain Adventures in 2015. Cody holds his Wilderness First Responder and Avalanche II certifications.

During the summer Cody works as a River Guide on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon. When not guiding Cody can be found chasing his passions of trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing and travelling to splitboard mountains throughout the world. Cody has climbed and skied in Alaska, PNW and New Zealand. Come join Cody for an unforgettable experience chasing fresh lines in the Wasatch Mountains.
