Aaron was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. While in high school he spent his time skiing in the Central Cascades. He went to college at Montana State University, in Bozeman, Montana and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also worked at the University’s Outdoor Recreation Program which inspired him to pursue a career as an outdoor professional.
Aaron now lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and spends his winters guiding skiing in the Wasatch Mountains. Throughout the rest of the year, Aaron guides skiing and climbing in the North Cascades, Alaska Range, and Mt Rainer National Park.
