Overnight, Multi-day Ski Tours

Camp in the Wasatch backcountry and enjoy the serenity of mountain nights and first tracks in the morning during a Private Multi-day Ski Tour. Guides will show you how to stay warm and comfortable while snow camping in a spectacular wilderness setting. The next morning, you can move camp, work on skills, skin up for more runs or attempt the descent of a nearby summit. You’ll break camp and ski out to a trailhead on the last day.

UMA offers custom, overnight backcountry trips for two or more days. Mountaineering, winter camping, route-finding, avalanche safety, steep skiing and other skills can be included, depending on your goals.

Custom or private guiding means you have a guide dedicated to you or your group rather than being in a class or clinic that is open to other guests. UMA’s outstanding guides and instructors are available daily to lead climbs and help guests progress in all aspects of backcountry touring.
