Guided Snowshoeing Trips
Experience the mountains’ rewards without the physical demands of climbing or skiing, and benefit from a private guide’s knowledge and leadership on a non-technical snowshoe adventure. UMA guides know the best trails for every interest, from a half-day snowshoe tour to a full-day winter adventure climb to a nearby viewpoint. Utah’s sparkling snow, fresh air and alpine vistas are all easily accessible on snowshoes.
The Wasatch Mountains provide good snowshoeing conditions from early December to the end of April. UMA guides are happy to include the ascent of a nearby accessible peak for sweeping views of the mountains and valleys.
During your snowshoe tour, our guides will share their knowledge of natural and human history in the mountains while minimizing risks inherent to mountain travel. Our snowshoe adventures go out from Park City, Alta and Brighton, and UMA avalanche safety equipment, backpack, snowshoes and ski poles are included.
Utah Mountain Adventures organizes snowshoe trips for many groups, including conferences, companies, schools and camps. Our guides can accommodate a variety of skill and fitness levels and make the outings fun and exciting for everyone.
All snowshoeing is arranged on a custom basis. Guides are available daily; however, advance notice is appreciated.
