Backcountry Film Work
UMA has experience assisting with feature films and small productions for ads, big screen adaptations, reality television, YouTube videos and other internet applications. Our professional guides provide the safety, consulting, flexibility and creativity to enable crews to achieve production goals in the beautiful, accessible Wasatch Mountains.
Backcountry touring, avalanche education, ski mountaineering, as well as hiking, snowshoeing, ice and rock climbing are all options for production work. Contact UMA if you have online video, TV, film or other production work in Utah.
We can manage crew safety, equipment transport and setting up camera locations, and assist in many other aspects of your backcountry film project. Special use permits are generally required for filming on Forest Service terrain, and UMA can help you acquire the correct permits.
