Requests for Changes and Cancellations
All customer-initiated course, trip and private outing date changes or cancellations must be made in writing by email to uma@utahmountainadventures.com and must be acknowledged by the UMA office within specified time constraints.
Date Changes for Courses, Trips or Private Outings
Customer-initiated date changes made after a trip is booked and confirmed will result in a $35 administrative fee per person / per reservation. This charge applies to changes made more than 5 days from the start of a course. No changes can be made 5 days or less from the start of a course.
Cancellations & Refunds for Courses, Trips or Private Outings
A refund minus a $35 administrative fee can be requested for cancellations initiated more than 30 days from the start of the course, trip or private outing. Less than 30 days from the start of the course, no refund is available.
UMA Weather Policy
Once a trip begins, if the activities are cut short due to weather, there is no refund or credit available.
UMA’s Right to Cancellation
UMA reserves the right to cancel a course, trip or private outing due to lack of sign-ups, or other factors beyond our control, such as rain, a lack of ice or snow, road closures or other environmental circumstances. In this case, you will have the option of receiving a refund, credit or rescheduling for a later date. UMA is not responsible for additional expenses incurred, including non-refundable airline tickets, equipment, lodging and other travel-related expenses.
