Join other proficient backcountry skiers and split-boarders for weekly group tours led by UMA guides. Intended for participants with b-c touring experience seeking partners for the backcountry and looking to learn new terrain and avoid avalanches.

Description:

Guides will select tour routes based on current snow conditions, weather forecast, avalanche risk and participant input. Fun snow and terrain will be the goal and a variety of drainages, bowls, peaks and glades will be toured throughout the season. These group tours will be offered from early January through March. Meet time will be Thursday and Sunday mornings, around 8 am, at Big or Little Cottonwood base or Einstein Bagels in Mill Creek Canyon.
