UMA's outstanding guides and instructors are available daily from March through December to lead a great multi-pitch, show individuals and groups a variety of single-pitch climbs, and help guests progress in any and all aspects of climbing.
All scheduled course curriculum can also be taught on a private basis if scheduled dates don't work for you. The maximum guide to client ratio for top-roping is 1 to 6, and for multi-pitch, 1 to 2 is standard. Advance notice is appreciated, if possible.
Beat the heat in July and August by getting into the cool, shady canyons with our guides. They know where to stay cool on warm days and find warm, dry rock in colder weather. On the hottest of days, an early morning or late afternoon start is an option.
Many of our clients go through a progression of increasingly challenging climbs to build skills while adventuring. Develop a rapport with a UMA guide, and he or she can also lead you on desert towers and cracks, Mt. Rainier, the Tetons, Denali, the Himalaya, etc.
Rates:
Full Day:
$295 for one person plus $100 for each additional person plus tax
Half Day:
$177 for one person plus $60 for each additional person plus tax
Long and more difficult multi-pitch ascents:
$350 for one person plus $100 for each additional person plus tax
